Stirling Talks Finals of 2021

We have completed the final round of Stirling Talks on December 18th, 2021 with a hybrid event.

In Stirling Talks, finalists of our schools around Iraq shared and presented their ideas and solutions for real-world problems within the assigned themes, and demonstrated their communication and presentation skills.

Besides their presentation projects and assignments in the classroom, our students are also given opportunities to explore their potential with the help of various activities that include public speaking events – the most prominent of these being STIRLING TALKS.

Being organized in cities before, this year Stirling Talks are organized country-wide among all Stirling Schools in 6 cities across Iraq.

We believe this event provides new opportunities for our students to perform to a wider audience and contribute to our students’ sense of belonging to the Stirling Schools educational community.

Stirling Talks are organized within 3 categories, and participants presented within certain themes assigned for their categories:

  • Grades 4-6 (Young Learners)-Success

  • Grades 7-9 (Juniors)- Environment

  • Grades 10-12 (Seniors)-Digital Age

35 finalists competed in this final round of Stirling Talks; two participants for each category from each city.

Participants presented on the stage in their cities, and a country wide audience was able to watch the talks online; thus, this was a hybrid event.

We would like to thank Stirling Schools Board of Education, English Department, supervisors of the participants and our dearest finalists for this amazing activity and event.
